INGENIUM 2025: When Learning Stepped Beyond the Classroom

In an age where education is too often confined to examinations and results, Ingenium 2025, the annual exhibition and student fair of Pole Star Public School, Patsoi Part 3, Manipur, proved that true learning thrives in creativity, collaboration, and community. The event, held with much anticipation, was nothing short of a celebration of knowledge and culture.

The centerpiece of the fair was an exhibition of more than 60 models across Science, Social Science, and Mathematics. Each model was not only a demonstration of concepts but also of the students’ ability to think critically and present their ideas with confidence. It was heartening to see young learners move beyond rote learning and bring theories to life.

But Ingenium 2025 was much more than an academic showcase. The vibrant stalls selling traditional food items such as singju, kelichana, and kheer were a reminder of how education is rooted in cultural identity. Students who donned the roles of cooks and entrepreneurs added flavor to the event, quite literally. Equally delightful were the stalls with handmade accessories—keychains, scrunchies, and decorative crafts—where creativity found a practical outlet.

The energy at the game stalls, featuring darts and ring toss, captured the spirit of childhood fun and friendly competition. It also highlighted how such events provide students with opportunities to organize, manage, and engage—skills essential for life beyond school.

What made the event truly memorable was the turnout. Parents, ex-students, former teachers, and educators from across the region filled the school grounds with warmth and encouragement. Their presence not only validated the efforts of the students but also strengthened the bond between the school and the wider community.

By every measure, Ingenium 2025 was a resounding success. More importantly, it reminded us that education, when it embraces creativity, tradition, and togetherness, has the power to inspire not just students but entire communities. Pole Star Public School has set a commendable example—one that deserves to be celebrated, and more importantly, replicated.
