Not Over Yet

I see their eyes,

full of judgement,

So do my eyes, filled with disappointment.

All the things I thought mattered,

All the numbers left me shattered.

Caffeine with smokes, steamed morning nights!

Thoughts of failure haunted me every night!

Ladies and gents, said I’m stupid,

Kind of dramatic, A little misfitted.

Blind with tears, I turned to the Lord,

Asked him if I deserved this all.

He said, My dear, it’s not over yet,

A time for you is there to come yet.

Memories Stay

Smiles and laughter, tears and fun,

Moments remembered, forever done.

Love and Joy, forever shine,

Memories stay, always mine.

In the heart, a treasure keeps,

Recalling moments, in sweet sleeps.

Time may pass, but memories stay,

Reminding us of yesterday.

Warmth of love, in every place,

Memories of joy, a smiling face.

Though life moves on and years go by,

Memories stay, never saying goodbye.
